Flights To North Cyprus, Flights to Northern Cyprus
Ercan Airport (located in the north of Cyprus)
The International Airport of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is Ercan.
As there are no direct flights at the moment, all flights must touch down in Turkey for approx 40mins before proceeding to Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
At the moment Cyprus Turkish Airline fly into Ercan airport from the following overseas cities: Belfast, Glasgow, London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Standstead, Manchester and Frankfurt.
Turkish Airlines fly into Ercan airport from destinations from all over the world; this requires the traveller to change planes at Istanbul. Some of our customers who have used this route have booked 1 or 2 nights stop over in the wonderful city of Istanbul. This trip can easily be arranged by phoning Turkish airlines from the city where you live. Flights into South Cyprus
An alternative route to Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is via South Cyprus, landing in Paphos or Larnaca airports. Travel across the border is now very straightforward and arrangements for your collection by taxi from the south can be arranged by Green Paradise Estates Crossing from South Cyprus into North Cyprus is a very simple procedure, your Taxi driver will take your passport to immigration, this only takes a couple of minutes and then your on your way again. One way Taxi fare from Larnaca is approx £40 G.B.P.
Transfer times from Larnaca to Gine are approx 1 hour.
Transfers from Paphos take approx 50 minutes longer, this depends upon which part of the North that you are visiting.
Some car hire companies in the south of the island will allow you to hire cars from the airport and drive them into the north of the island; you will have to pay £15 CYP on the boarder for additional insurance cover.
Flights into the south arrive on a daily basis; booking is very simple over the internet and flights can cost as little as £100 G.B.P.
