Cooled in summer by a gentle mountain breeze, this lovingly restored village is a refuge of peace and genuine charm. With stunning views of the northern coastline from every corner, the relaxed and informal style of Karaman (Karmi Village North Cyprus) never fails to enchant the visitor.

The village is small and although there are some new developments taking place on the outskirts of the village boundaries, nothing is really more than a five minute stroll from the car park which is in the Church Square and is clearly sign posted. Several entertaining walks are possible in and around Karaman North Cyprus. For the more energetic, Ilgaz is about five kilometers away and to the west is another crusader village; Zeytinlik North Cyprus (formerly Templos) is a comfortable stroll away, down the hill, do remember however, you will have to get back up the hill somehow!

There are also mountain trails up to St Hilarion Castle in North Cyprus and through the pine forest, although these tracks can be adversely affected by heavy winter rain storms, (thankfully an uncommon occurrence).
